Selwyn Hervey

Selwyn joined Alpine Start Development in October of 2023. As the Chief Financial Officer, he oversees all financials and financial reporting. He also helps define strategies, key initiatives, budgets, and provides advice, strategic thinking, and recommendations to improve financial performance and to capitalize on business opportunities. Selwyn has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience across multiple asset classes which include office, retail, industrial, multifamily, student housing and hotel.

Before joining ASD, Selwyn was the SVP of Accounting and Finance for Yugo (USA), a global management company in the student housing space. Other stops in Selwyn’s career include CFO of Greenway Investment Corporation where he managed the accounting, financial planning, and budgeting with a focus on sustainable growth with $100MM+ annual revenue. Prior to Greenway, Selwyn was the CFO of Operations for Harwood International, a full-service commercial real estate firm with $4B AUM. Earlier in his career, Selwyn spent 10 years in accounting and finance between his time with General Electric Capital Real Estate and Crow Holdings.
